ProjectDiscovery developed Proxify as a portable proxy for capturing, manipulating, and replaying HTTP and HTTPS traffic. The project subsequently added SOCKS5 upstream support, non-HTTP protocol plugins, filtering and replacement expressions, an embedded DNS resolver, and separate replay tooling.

ProjectDiscovery distributes Proxify as a portable Go command and through release binaries and package managers. Its workflow targets security testing and remote traffic collection rather than general-purpose proxy serving.

Run `proxify` as a local interception proxy, direct a client through it, and save request-response pairs as JSONL, YAML, or individual files. Operators can modify traffic with DSL expressions, forward through HTTP or SOCKS5 upstream proxies, and replay captured sessions into another proxy. HTTPS inspection requires trusting Proxify's generated CA certificate.
