QSoas continues the SOAS line of scientific data-analysis software associated with Vincent Fourmond and collaborators. It developed into a Qt-based application while preserving a command-oriented workflow and adding global fitting, formula- and differential-equation-based models, signal processing, peak detection, and embedded mruby scripting.

Upstream provides ready-to-use macOS and Windows installers while directing Linux users to compile from source. The input records a Homebrew formula, giving macOS users an additional package-manager installation route.

使われ方

Use QSoas interactively to import, transform, visualize, and fit experimental data, or place commands in script files for repeatable batch analysis. Fit models may use formulas, predefined functions, ordinary differential equations, or differential equations.

Upstream documents command files and embedded mruby but does not identify a canonical per-user configuration or credentials file.
