presenterm's changelog begins with the 0.1.0 release in October 2023, providing Markdown slides, terminal image protocols, themes, syntax highlighting, pauses, and automatic reload.

Subsequent releases quickly added columns, PDF export, dynamic code highlighting, LaTeX and Typst rendering, configuration files, custom key bindings, Windows image support, Mermaid rendering, executable snippets, and broader export support. The documentation later moved into a dedicated mdBook-style site.
