OpenWhisk's platform story expanded through IBM Cloud Functions, Adobe I/O Runtime, Red Hat involvement, and other deployments. Once configured, developers use `wsk` to manage OpenWhisk actions, triggers, rules, packages, APIs, and deployment helpers.
