# Install pnetcdf with Homebrew, MacPorts, Nix, apt, zypper

Parallel netCDF library for scientific data using the OpenMPI library. Version 1.15.0 via Homebrew; verified 2026-07-02. Also installable with debian: sudo apt install libpnetcdf-dev.
